OOH
FUNZIES!

What did you use for masking the camouflage, Chief Chef?
I've got a grip of AK's version of Panzer Putty left from when I was a slave to rattle cans. Great Stuff-
YES WE ARE ALL DIFFERENT...

Mr. Rat!
Come to the StuG Life! It is calling you! One of Us...One of Us...One of Us!
*chuckles*
regards,
Painless
I'll be very honest. I had zero draw to the Stug. But once I started looking at exactly how many different versions there were and reading up on their history it just clicked. They are something special. And I think the key is they are manageable size wise and also offer endless ability to detail and modify almost on a whim. I never thought I'd say this about another tank besides the Tiger but I can see myself making 1 or 3 more.
Thanks for popping in Mr. Painless Wolf

The Panzer III was a good primer for the Stug and actually makes this project more enjoyable as I worked out any PZ III lower details and the Stug doesnt have a turret to deal with.

StuG's are definitely the freestylin' version of German AFV's.
The most numerous and so widespread that almost anything goes.
I'd like to do a very early one, like Mr Wolf's , and then attend rehab to wean off "the Life "

It's gonna be a looker for sure. With all the Stugs out there and the fact I built one as a kid, I'm surprised I've never built one myself. Maybe one day.
