Yes Sir. I had the pleasure of seeing those before the web host lost the pics. Mr. Birger put a lot of effort into illustrating all the Heng Long Touch ups. It is truly unfortunate that all of that was lost and I neglected to save any of it. (I am missing a few of his hints right now) It doesn't address the poor casting of the wheel face, just mentions the best option albeit the more expensive is to upgrade to the metal wheels. I have no issue with the double wide fat wheels since they are mostly hidden. And Now even though I hadn't originally planned to, I will eventually upgrade to metal road wheels. Just not yet. Gonna complete this one with plastic wheels and tracks.

Thanks Mike. It's definitely an acquired skill that I'm working on. There are small patches of bubble gum but for the most part once I got the hang of it, it's just patient smooth rollin.

Something important to share is that this "Green Stuff" isn't sander friendly until at least 24 hours. And when fully cured the texture is still ever so slightly flexible Not rock hard like say Miliput, which I had learned during research. It's texture allows for a minimum of 2 hour working time and can be extended by mixing different ratios, adding drops of water when it gets tacky or placing it in a zip bag and storing it in the freezer. I find the best sanding tool is using an extra fine nail buffer block not really to remove anything but to smooth the surface. Glad I'm getting good practice in before working on the turret welds which will be very prominent.

Thanks Chris. Yep havin some fun here. I actually have 3 more Tiger I's planned. The Heng Long Tiger I is a lot to work with or rework or massage. I'm happy trying some brand new techniques and well as continuing to perfect others. Always more to learn and such a fun process. I couldn't be happier surrounded by such a great group of friendly and extremely talented enthusiasts.

Man you're quick. I just used an Exacto on mine. HL needs to remove that from the mold.

I started with the better known offending issues.

Heng Long And Taigen both have the extra aerial tube issue. I'm not sure which other companies are affected. It's funny Taigen went out of their way to correct other issues like the front MG ball mount, Drivers Visor, Extra right side convoy light, Turret lifting lugs and Turret vision ports and they Still didn't remove the extra aerial tube. I'm guessing cost for re-manufacture and non-enthusiast management.

Ya know. If they fix 99% of the issues, I say let 'em slide on the one. TBH, that extra aerial tube doesn't bother me.
