I recently found an old phone of mine and was able to recover lots of old and forgotten photos from its memory card, and as it happens one of them is a photo of this tank in its original configuration. I have no idea what I was thinking with that paint scheme but had to start somewhere I suppose.
Note the upside down mantlet, recoiled gun and misaligned cupola. How far we have come.

Fascinating thread. I have a Taigen Panther heavily modified by people with far more expertise than I have and in the 4 years since I bought it has been a total nightmare drivetrain wise but I refused to be beaten by it. Finally it is running great but I just realized there is not a single part from the original tank that has survived to it's current state. Turret,upper and lower hulls all replaced, wheels,sprockets gearboxes tracks everything is new
