Hi All didnt goto plan today :( . Ive started on the turret . Ive got the turret all centerlised and the commanders cupola removed and bunged the hole . However when I altered the rear of the turret I cut to much of 8-) however this can be rectified and as its covered in zimmerit you wont see it 8-) . Will post some picts when Ive sorted it . I have also made the rear turret panel and loaders / escape hatch .

When I cut the rear section out of the turret I took to much from the sides at the bottom . I have replaced this now with styrene . The Heng Long turret sides , at the ends on the rear seemed to be the incorect shape.

This pict shows the rear hatch . Its moved closer to the side since I corrected my error on the rear turret sides . I thought it looked wrong however since going back and researching it , it seems ok ? I will be making the hatch so it opens .

Hi all not done much recently . Im open to coments on this either way . I know it will never be perfect but just want it to look as close as possible to a late Panther A , Normandy era.

Hi Rik thanks mate . Im still impressed with your Tiger . Have you done any more since the last posts . Ive made my Panther comaders cupola more like its been cast and the armoured covers have the weld seems . Still stock HL tho . God I want to get this sprayed . Ive still got all the metal suspension to add and re fit the internals . I cant decide if to add recoil yet ?

All the best Andy

Hi Started doing the turret parts now . First on is the cupola and as per Gras build I have raised it a bit. I have made it look like a casting , added styrene Aa rail mounts , brass AA rail , aiming spur . I will post some picts soon .

Heres some work Ive done on the turret . Ive tryed to make the cupola look like its cast , made a new AA ring and mounts , added the aiming vain thingy .Ive removed the two moulded lumps on the top/front of the turret that are for the screws when you fix the mantlet piece in and reduced the screw length to suit . I then added the three lifting points and the rear handle . And suprise suprise zimmerited one side and the rear . Ive still got the rear hatch to fit and the detail around it. 8-) . And as this is a late Ausf.A I have added the self defense weapon , and altered the turret detail .

The moded cupola.

More zimmerit !
Coments welcome . Again I know its not perfect or as good as the Tamiya G but Im not aiming for that level of acuracy , just to improve the Pantiger.
