Carl, I hope you can proceed due to the pics I PM'd you?
Good luck with your StuG project.
Regards, Rob.

Going through this topic, I ran into this build of mine.
Only thing I did in the meanwhile was adding some stowage onto the rear deck, the set is from Das Werk.
This one is also waiting to get finished….

You might recognize this StuG from my pics with the grenadiers in the show off section?

Much respect for a great model.

And I add that the figures are well-posed, as if either looking to find Allies and/or ready to jump off into action.

Stowage looks great and as usual your figures are just fantastic. Rather than buying any more tanks I think I'll use my budget next year to buy professionally painted figures. They absolutely make the tanks spring to life

Indeed, I only can confirm that the figures give that extra touch to the overall looks of the Panzer.
But why buying professional painted figures, they might cost a fortune.
I would try the painting myself if I where you.
I had to learn it too, with some patience it is not that difficult at all.
Maybe you have some of those cheap HL figures and you can practice on them?
Everybody can buy things, but doing it yourself might give more satisfaction.
And if the eyes give any problems painting, you always can put goggles on the faces.
In my topic about the Kradmelder in the show off section, I posted pics of those goggles.
Rob.

I even made a second set of those grenadiers to fit my StuH-42.
The set on the StuG I made in a mostly green camo, these are in a brown/green variant
