This afternoon I got some MoTip anti rust primer at the auto parts shop and sprayed the Schurzen a few times

One way to think about it is that they could have been a battlefield mod on your tank, so they would not exactly match the tank camo anyway, use that as part of the story?

Wel Outlaw, that's funny you mentioned that!
This afternoon I was looking at the F and because I did not have the proper colors to match the Panzer, I thought to give it a try with some lookalike colors, just to see how the camo would work out.
I had no olive green, and no choco brown.
I do have some darker green as the olive needed, and also some brown earth which is not as dark brown as the choco color.

And...I do not like it.
Next time I am near the hobby shop in Germany, I will get me the proper olive and choco colors.
I also dislike the camo pattern I made. I think if I make it all more edgy with straighter linings it might look better.
No airbrush, so did it with brushes.
So one of these days I will sand it all down to the bare aluminum again and start all over.
I do have 40 Schurzen in total, haha, so I can mess up some more....

This morning I took the paint off the Schurzen.
Tomorrow I will head into Germany and get me some colors that wil match.

Went into Germany yesterday and got me some paint. Quite difficult to choose which colour is the correct one.
But in the end I guess I made the right choices.
I finished it just a few minutes ago so it all have to dry up some more.
