No, I did not seal the base coat in with Klear before I applied the camo. I have washed the wheels through today and tomorrow I will dry brush them and overspray them with a thinned mud brown then seal them and the lower hull with matt varnish. After that it will be klear on the upper hull and turret, followed by decals then Klear then the wash. Are you using enamels or acrylics. If you are using enamels, I will be even more interested in your experiences of using them.
Cheers
STEINER.

thats the scrapes and scratches done, although i will probably go over them again later i,m not really happy with them at the moment, and the turret decals applied, you can see the reason i gloss the tank first the decals haven't frosted or turned silver at the edges so I'm happy with that.
still a way too go but its coming along fine...............oz

OK! heres the thing, the more i look at the paint job on the tiger the less sure i am that i like it, its not the Grey or the camo i don't like its just the way its been applied, so i think i,m gonna strip the whole thing and start again and repaint it the same colors using the same method but without the scrapes and scratches.
i.m gonna have a good think about this but sometimes when i,m working on a project i get that nagging feeling its just not working and i definitely have the feeling this isn't going the way i planned................oz
but sax, steiner, please keep posting your pics..........
