Little bit more detailing with weld marks around the lifting hooks and turret hatch etc.

To the front, the towing hooks welds were interesting if you can call welds interesting, on the pictures I found the welds looked like melted chocolate.

To try to copy that I did the normal weld sausage putty thing, in this case I use Epoxy Sculpt bit like clay but dries rock hard. After running wet flat head screw driver down the side I then got a flat chisel knife and stepped down the Sculpt dragging as I went, turned out OK and the effect will show up a bit better once sprayed. More Mr 500 added to the cast bits.

Image

Casting numbers added and weld seem, more Mr 500 will be slapped on the bring up the level the main welds later.

Piping installed on the back, next engine cover.

Nice going Phil.... I see you even got a little rust going on  ...I'm sure it will grow :haha:

By the way I forgot to say how much I liked your pipe work on the oil tanks...bet that took a little doing... lucky for me.. my GIRLS UND PANZER version didn't need them... and I carved the pipes off...and I know in comparison... yours will be a real showpiece when it's done

I just finished my commander so I'll have Pictures of mine probably tomorrow...

Good Morning,
Phil, it looks _really_ good. You've captured the roughly hewn nature of Soviet era armor perfectly. The Soviet green is right on as well. The spots where you ran out of green do look amazingly well placed and just like rust.

Painless
