Speechless with amazement: but at least I can still write! I don't know how I've missed this thread until now, although by coincidence I found myself on the Pololu website a couple of days ago through an RC electronics search. You've made a genuine collector's item there, and lots of people envious... I dare say! Thanks for the inspiration.

Tried my best to look away MK1nut
............But as obvious as it is...I couldn't
It would be awful difficult for anyone to ignore what you've accomplished ...and I have to say...I am sold on that Grey
...In my mind's eye...I guess I couldn't envision what you had in mind
....It's very different than the others that have been shown...and though I was a fan of it being Raw ... I really like the way you've done him up so far
Hope to see more

Thank you everyone, glad you like the build it has taken me in a whole world of new directions and learnt so much. Nearly finished the front cab area and made a start on the roof area.

A famous film director once said of Errol Flynn: 'He looked great from every angle". The same could be said of your Mk 1. If you could produce those commercially, I'd buy one.

Hi Guys,
Well I managed to get the Mk1 running AND Painted in time for this Centenary year... then though had a little issue and it broke... but managed to get it going in time for TankMod at Bovington a few weeks back. It was great to actually make it, the tank behaved and it was good to see some of the 1/6 scale modellers again.

Its a lovely piece of work - have you done any waterproofing of the ply frame or is the intention to keep it away from mud / water. Guy

Thanks for the kinds comments guys x
The plywood all got a coat of resin. I was going to paint the interior white but couldn't bring myself to hide its construction.
