Good evening,
My JJ RC 'Vintage' Truck came in this morning. The seller had just thrown the truck box into a large plastic envelope and consequently, the truck was badly broken when it arrived here. :problem: Both rear wheels on one side snapped off\broken screws and the tailgate mounts snapped. I checked the rest of it over and everything is here. I sent a message to the seller but don't expect a lot back from them ( different culture and language ) Having said that, are there better axle upgrades available for this truck? If I have to keep it, may as well make it useful! :o)
regards,
Painless

P.S. How about those rims and tires, Gary?

Painless old friend that is diabolical and it raises important issues,
First and most important is that I have one on order :lolno: ,
I am left wondering if the vendor is searching for the quickest way to lose customers because that would work for me
In a world that is slowly waking up to the insidious nature of "Plastics" in all its forms do you think that the packaging industry is deliberately dispensing with Polystyrene Block and Bubblewrap in an effort to save the planet,? Most laudable if so but they need to come up with an eco friendly alternative if they want to stay in business, Shredded paper used to be both popular and effective.
I hope you are successful in your claim for reparation,
As to your request for upgraded rear axles my understanding is that unlike the WPL/Heng Long trucks the JJRC Trucks have properly engineered metal Differentials that are far more effective than the Crude "Spin up and Slide" alternatives.
After rebuilding your 6 wheeler what plans do you have for it because we seem to be starting a who can build the wackiest truck competition on the Forum :haha:
Take care,
Shaun.

Where you buy it from?
If Gearbest I have found them good if you receive or have parts missing as they will.send it out. Even if you Do have to provide pointless photos.
But the last load if trucks I been receiving bashed in the corners. Most upsetting how badly packed they are and how.badly treated in transit

Good morning,
The Seller was contacted yesterday so the waiting game is on. Good job on those links for replacement parts. I know I can at least put it back to new ( and probably Better ) if negotiations go South. I did want to run it yesterday but settled for having it as an abandoned wreck that I ran my Korean War Pershing by a few times. ;o)

Painless

I even got a test drive in the kitchen.

Only thing left is to get it all painted.
Glad to finally see the 5th wheel getting some use.it takes a good bit of sand n fine tunning to get the trigger to your liking.

Hi Chaps,
All very nice work you have been doing here truly outstanding.

Finally received my 380 motor and 2 speed gearbox and servo set up to mod my WPL 6x6 from the standard kit 180 motor.
All in all a very nice piece of kit , appears well made and all fits perfectly
One thing to note is that the standard splined plastic shafts will not fit as the output shaft has no splines only flats for grub screws ...so unless you mod the plastic shafts as I have done or fit the upgraded metal drive shafts the standard plastic ones won't fit.
some pics for you to peruse.
Regards Sub.
