Wow....really nice brass work.

Are you having the extension to the bustle rack or just the standard rack??

Cheers Bruce

Hi Bruce,

Thank you for your kind words. :)

Yes the work on the Bustle Extension Rack will began once I get the EAPU Power Distribution Box (PDB) completed and a few other details done. I will be fabricating it for brass with the "intent" of being able to fold it up as does the actual rack. There are still some features that I have yet to determine how to make.

Cheers,
Barry

Thank you Richard for you words of encouragement, I try hard to make it as accurate as possible which does require "fudging" here and there. :shh:

First up was to separate the Trumpeter piece into the three different parts of the unit. There is the center section that is where the EAPU wiring divides up. I say this because as you can see there is a removable cover on the part. The box is bolted to the turret via a bracket welded to the sire of the blowout door frame. The forward section is an armored shroud that extends aft around the outside providing protection for the junction box. The aft section is another shroud that protects the wiring from where it exits the EAPU and enters the junction box.

First up are some pics of the actual unit.
