I am absolutely with Gary his idea of what a Trucks Page should be like always included innovative builds and there is no doubt that your builds are innovative and thank goodness for it.,
If I want to look up anything to do with HL/WPL Trucks I know exactly where to go, and when something different turns up such as your pick ups that to me is a bonus.
More strength to you.

Max-U52 wrote:Will, when I started this thread I tried to make it clear that this is for any and all mods to any and all HL trucks. Even if you're just using the axles in something like a wc51, it's okay to post it here. Anything and everything that has anything to do with HL trucks is welcome at this thread. Of course, if you want to start a separate thread that's up to you, but all of your fine work is more than welcome on any thread that I started. 8)
I keep it here then no problem :)
Had forgot the original message, that was a few hundred pages ago haha.
For these Truggy & Hilux I think they measure closer to 1/14 Scale. Not the 1/16 they suggest. Confirmed that with the wheelbase.

Does anyone know where there is a cheap supply of twin n20 motor mounts? I have motors but don't want to spend £15 just for a mount.
Any links be much appreciated

Good evening all,
Did one of those 'Make an Offer' on EBay and have one of the 'vintage' appearing Chevy dual rear axle trucks on the way. Color is green and once it arrives, I will ping you, Gary, for a set of the 3D rims to fit it. Tires as well if you have them figured out. This one will look great running next to the Soviet KV-2 and the IS -2 once it is available.
regards,
Painless

He makes the models & his Mrs paints themImage
This one is a Kubelwagen driver but fits like a glove into my Hannomag. His
Legs are way too long for a stock heng long truck though, nothing a dremel wouldn’t sort lol

Now just thinking about what upgrades to make!
Going to do some transimssion tests anyway, so Start with Stock setup with larger motor.
Want to try a 2 speed transmission
Going to try a 2x N20 motor setup
Then we will see what crawls best.

Btw i love the Neon Green. It almost glows in the dark it's that bright. Pictures do not do it justice.
Wheels still need detailing, so will have black wheel nuts and bronze/rusty coloured studs & holes for the pressed steel wheel.
Roof rack, looks like i have to custom make as stuff on the market is 1/10 & we are going to stick a light bar up top.
2s power i think is sufficient.

However i ahve recently had a challenge from a German friend to make RC off-road dragsters. We both have to use the same kit, so i am wondering if i turn the next WPL C-14/24 into an off-road dragster!
25m offroad drag course needs to be found now! I am thinking about Dodge pickup and copying the 'Farmtruck' for 1/14!
