I sent him a PM yesterday. He is still alive and has everything ready to mail for you and me. He is waiting to mail a larger order to someone else at the same time. I guess he does not live very close to the post office. Australia is sparsely populated for its size.

I have now built the front drive covers and armoured covers . The drive sprockets are now fitted although considering making or getting some that have a larger diameter ? Picts to follow.

Here is some pictures of the drive covers etc. As Im using the Academy 1:25 gear boxes (at the mo ) . The shaft for mounting the drive sprocket , I drilled a small hole throught it and theres a hexaganal fitting that slots onto this so the drive sprocket can be fitted to this , and then the shaft. So Ive drilled a small hole through this in line with the other one . I then cut a small copper ring to slide over this and then drilled that to . For a strengthening band . I intend to glue the hexaganel thing to the drive sprocket and then slot it onto the drive shaft . Finaly putting a locking pin through the hole thing. To make the transmision covers I pushed a piece of copper pipe just wide enougth to slot over the drive shaft into the tank and let it pertrude just enougth for a small dish to be added . I then used milliput to shape the drive shaft cassings . I also added the front tow points with the armoured transmission cover bolt heads . A bit of a mouth full but heres the pictures.

Heres just a quick rear shot . Once the idlers are sorted , Im going to tidy up the external detail as some has got knocked of . And then when my dishes come ( thanks Col  ) mount them onto the road wheels along with all those bolts hmm . Then its mounting the electronics.

Here is the road wheels fitted to one side . They are the stock HL Tiger wheels . I added the discs that Col sent me (thanks mate) . I then cut a ring from another wheel and glued this to the outer edge of the road wheel to give the rim effect . I then cut a round piece of styrene with the middle removed , I added this to cols dishes to give the slightly raised area were the bolts go. On my model it has the 32 bolts round each wheel , with another 16 around the centre disc ! Loads of fun hmm.

Heres the wheels, styrene circules etc,

Finished wheel, The black ring is the styrene I added for the raised area,

One side with road wheels fitted , the tracks need some links removed as there to slack at the mo.
