Matt,

No problem, next time head for the rough stuff with it - it loves it!

Brel - it's 1/8, but it's not American!  It was found abandoned but working in a barn in Holland not long after Market Garden by the 4th Armoured (Coldstream Guards). It was repainted olive drab and the stars were put on so it didn't fall victim to the RAF. Cuckoo saw action on at least 2 occasions in the winter of 44/45, but eventually the fuel pump died so it was disabled by a piat and probably finished up in a Dutch scrapyard.
The 4th Armoured used a number of captured vehicles, incuding apparently a Tiger 1. Cuckoo is well documented on the internet, but I haven't found any info on the Tiger.

I would just like to take a moment to say a big thank you to Andy, Matt, Pete and Peter for a fantastic and informative day out. Andy thanks for the lift and putting up with my forgetfullness lol , Pete thank you so much for the tea, usefull info and hospitality, Peter thanks for the information and for bringing the BIG panther and Matt thanks for being the young man who started all this off and also for the loan of the Tiger 1 . All I can say is it's on of the best days out I have had in a while and most important of all this is one the nicest group of people I have ever had the good fortune to meet. I will look forward to meeting everyone again in the new year.  All the best for now

Well it looks like I missed a 'Grand Day Out', curses! I am still awaiting the return of my Thinktank board from Elmod..I just sit here staring at my Tiger which at the moment is a very expensive ornament!!

Hopefully I will get to the next meet in February.

Cheers

Hi Phil That looks like an ideal place to have battles ,Like the bridge, was it bought or made have you got any plans of it ?.Have you a wiring diagram for the gun position have an 88mm on order and would like to make it into a firing one like yours maybe something like this http://home.comcast.net/~chioc/rctankhobby_1008_003.htm.
