Just give myself a bit of inspiration to carry on, went with a cover of Mr Surfacer 500 out of a spray can to unite the finish. That was a good idea for me.
Boosted by the look, gave it another light dust with Mr Surfacer 1000 out of a spray can.
The stuff did the trick to give me a single non reflective surface that is crying out for paint
Plus I can spot a few places that need a bit more attention.
Shading may well be next I’m thinkin

Looks pretty darn (pardon the language) good without paint. Going to be stellar with paint!

Cheers Mr Ecam the primer has bought it all together quite well. The Hooben plastic is quite weird stuff and I also figured that the strong bond and chemical composition of it should help to keep the finish in place.
We’ll soon see eh

It’s not easy making Green look interesting
Kermit the Frog is right
A slightly darkened 4 BO to get a more modern shade before the funky camo pattern which I’m not looking forward to doing.
The odd colours are causing me some hesitation, all 3 need to be blended and I only have computer screen references!
NATO green and nato brown could be ok but the yellow/green/ tan is a bit out there.
I have blended olive green into dark yellow 2 for a bit more green but until it’s on( and therefore too late) I won’t really know .

Taking advantage of a long weekend down here, for the Kings Birthday no less, managed to get a bit done.
The base green was ultra mat, which is not a bad thing, but unsuitable for this theatre I thought.
Hairspray did the trick. Darkened it and added a low gloss sheen to it. As it does.
Plus it smells magnificent.................
Hope to get more done tomorrow when I get home.
The camo paint blending is under way, wish me luck.

Pics are too large to post and I’m too stupid to resize them, you’ll have to take my word for it !!
