Thanks mate, been a long slow burning fuse on this but getting there now.
I probably would not have gone out of my way to get one, but as this came to me as a renovators dream (like so many of my projects :/ ) the thing can at least be given the same respect as any of the others. As long as it turns out good enough, the effort will have been worth it.
Appreciate you checking in Mr Tankme

Herman, the primer looks to me like the original "RustOleum" colour here in the states. I often though it might be the same stuff, alleged to use "fish oil" to retard rust on the real equipment (especially ship and boat hulls). Of course, I could be wrong, but it is fun to speculate. Now, I, too, like the Sturmtiger, mostly because it looks like the circus cannon out of which the acrobat was (supposedly) fired across the circus ring. Or it might be delightful with the ability to pop out a stick and a flag that says "BOOM!"

Last act of the day was to warm the big girl up and get the base coat on.
Used the same blend remaining from the Jagdpanzer project to get it nice and light with a super flat finish.
Now it’s looking good

It is funny what paint will do.
Got the green on before the Las Vegas GP.
This formula paint is so abstract I've lost track of what it is :eh:

My daughter attended that event last year. Cruised the pits and had "box" access with free food/drink above the start/finish. She said they had no plans to attend this year.

Green looks good.

Its one of the best races.
Lots of overtaking that most European tracks dont offer.
