Yip, swap them side to side. The angled line on the extended tread should face up when viewed from the front.
Although, there are many pictures with them on the down plane like yours are.
I cant find it just now but the correct method is they slope up when viewed from the front.
Great colour track wash by the way. what actual colour did you use ?

Now you've got me looking at photo's. And you're right, plenty of photo's of them both ways.
The colors are Tamiya, first down was Field Grey, then Hull Red, and then I hit them in random places with Flat Black.

Good colour, I will give it a go.
The tracks officially are the other way round, but imagine the hassle of getting them on, only find the damn things are backwards........as I a crew would piss around at -30 C and change them
Shame about the schurzen eh, still, easy as they are to mount, you could change tracks & fit them at leisure

Yes, I will get to them soon and make the change, thanks for pointing this out Herman. I'm not a big Schurzen fan, I like to watch all of those wheels, tracks, and suspension working over objects so not a big loss for me. Those" Chunky Tracks", as Ad called them

have really added to the look of this TD.

A short run in the kitchen. The high pitch Tamiya whine from the DMD is not present when I increase the volume just a bit.

Love the ambush scheme, really starting to come together now.
I've just ordered a new tank but not this one unfortunately.

Thanks Ad for your compliment. So what did you order, and how is the P IV build coming?
