This HL "Pro" version Koenigstiger needs some work on it:
Fit brass etched grilles to the engine deck.
Fit Atak Zimmerit to hull and turret.
Spray three tone camo and add numbers and Balkan crosses.
The headlamp needs cahnging to a Bosch slit type.

I have already changed the battery from a 1700 mAh to a 2000 mAh as the 1700 wasn't man enough to turn the tank as it has metal tracks, drive sprockets and gearboxes.

Looking forward to seeing it when you are done. How many other king Tigers? I know you have a Jagdtiger and many others

I have one other KT Carl, a Taigen with Porsche turret - an accomplished model straight out of the box.
This is it.....

There is of course some leeway for improvement - a Beier sound card for example....

Paul I think the Beier sound board would fit this beast beautifully. I was very surprised with how perfectly the unit was designed to fit the Taigen board. The fit and finish of the Taigen Tiger I and tiger II are very nice IMHO[OK HAND SIGN]

Yes the stock Taigen sounds would not do this tank justice.

The temptation is to equip the rest of my none TK24 equipped tanks with Beier sound cards but then the new Taigen add on sound card is due out......

Will it be worth the wait ?

Meantime, did I mention I like taking photos ?

Maybe but I think the new Taigen sound card will either work with a newer version of thier main board or you will have to purchase the Open Panzer board and incorporate that with the Taigen sound board and then the Taigen T5?

Hopefully someone can clear this up

At the moment I'm erring on the side of going the Beier route as most of my panzer are Taigen/Torro and I can use the radios that come with them.

And for a stock radio the addition of the Beier board the sound is awesome.
