M103a2 Sunday 15 turret look like a ..turret

Update 27th Oct

At last I've started working on the M103a2 again ....now I have the gun barrel I knew I wanted it's to have a recoil and to be servo operated ..so I sat for a day or two and worked out how I wanted to do it .?the servo when I get on will have to sit on the gun cradle so when the gun move up and down the servo moves as well

I've had to add lenght to the breach end of the barrel for a recoil ...the barrel diameter at the breach end is ..16 mm ...eek !

For now just a 3 pic of the barrel and basic cradle fitted in place but not fixed in while I do some other work on the tirretrievably

I always feel when I get a barrel fitted the tanka I build really begin to come alive and a new drive to get it finished starts to buzz again

Hi all
here is the latest update on the m103a2 ..

Once again work and family keep getting opine the way of valuable build time ..which is so frustrating at times .,I have the gun barrel for more or less a month and built the cradle and stopped again, ..
but now I have sat down and began to fit and shape the turret roof and rear aircleanr and radio aerial mount ...I popped on aplastic card disc to show where the conpmanders cuppa is ..

Looks messy at the moment .,but I am still shapeinb the turret and strentging and back filling any gaps or holes between the coffee sticks ,,,I think u hall ge the idea ..and as usual the pics t
really tell the story .,,

Yet another amazing build, excellent progress.

I have a feeling that when you get your hands on a Chally, all eyes are going to be on what you do with it. Can't wait!
