Has to have a bucket Richy..... its not a "proper" german tank without a bucket ;) :haha: :haha: :haha:

I might consider changing the AA mg on the cupola too. It looks like an MG42, lots of discussion on this on other threads but the consensus seems to be that an MG34 is most likely what should be there. There are some nice MG34s, AA mounts and accessories out there.

Richy I am with Paul on the "Bucket" and if you are going to include DETAIL how about a towing pin on a chain swinging beside or mounted in the towing eye? and I would like DAVIDS input on the "MG42" on the cupola, I tend to agree with Paul on the rarity of them on TIGER 1s BUT none of what I say detracts from the originality of your Tank, there are very few builds of TIGER 1 COMMAND TANKS, well done sir. shaun

Sorry, it has to be an MG34 with an armoured barrel. Only that kind could be used inside the tank.

hi Alpha

yeah the atenna are pe from Germany i believe.

Not sure what else to put on really i need to keep it realistic as to many parts might start making it unusable. I have a roll of barbed wire and a bucket lol. Maybe a rolled up camo net for the side.

Rich
Helmets hanging off the side of the turret ..jerry cans... all kinds of stuff you can put ....seems everyone likes the bucket.. :haha: ...I think the main thing is knowing when to stop...too much and you have to worry about things getting snagged and torn of...or just fall off ..Me? I think she's fine... maybe a commander figure or something...

And if the "itch" to do more still continues... maybe just get another "project" ..like a King Tiger ;)

TBH Paul I didn't even realise the wrong gun was on there I will certainly look into the MG34, its amazing how such small but critical detail gets left out or the wrong part gets added lol.. as for the bucket it would be very rude not to have one swinging from the rear

thanks for your input David, Do you think I should get a metal or plastic mg34 ? not sure if one has more detail than the other, or any links to where would be a good place to buy what I need

LOL Alpha you obviously hang lots off of your tanks , helmets good call, will look into that. and jerry cans too  .

yeah I'm already thinking about what I can do after this one and king tiger sound like an idea . I think i'm going to have to go Tamiya as my knowledge is so limited I think a complete tank build would help me out no end

Hi Richy,

Here you go some pics of the MG34 on my Tiger. Before anyone chimes in the armoured barrel is on order

Gurtsack ammo bag:

The AA mount needs a little adjustment to fit the Gurtsack, but other than that this all goes together nicely. Of course changing the Barrel for the Armoured one looks more involved but I will let you know more when I have done that bit. ;)

For general bits and pieces of stowage these guys are great:
