Glad you liked it (even though it isn't the Pzkpfw 38T) sassgrunt....I did add a little more detail to the spare bogie towers...after I took those pictures... I was looking through my junk box... and found a RC boat motor mechanism ...the end of the shaft that holds the propellers had these perfectly tapered screws... they look like bearing races... so since I couldn't find any photos of the bogie tripods... without the bogies.. I just added them to the top... hopefully I can get some photo's of that upgrade in the morning ...the angle of the sun is perfect at that time
and not to worry ERWIN AND THE STUG will be coming up soon

Updated the knuckles on the top of the spare bogie tripods ...had a photo of the rear one... but it was blurred... darn LCD screens
both are much clearer in this photo.. I think they look good... much better than the gaping holes from the screws that normally hold down the spare bogie

Aerial upgrade
file a tiny groove... or drill a tiny hole so the wire doesn't pinch... it works great

Alpha I saw this post before I read your thread on moving the antennae, so I didn't realize that you soldered the whole muffler together! I thought it was one of the aftermarket upgrade parts. You do REALLY good work! -Mike

Thanks Mike (sassgrunt)...what can I say.. when I'm inspired... the only thing that will hold me back is the lack of imagination and parts

... it took a lot of both..plus an added dose of patience and luck...as the connector pipes had to be repositioned three times... and if I didn't happen upon that anime gun... the end caps wouldn't look nearly as nice as they do
It just seemed like it was meant to be...a few snags... but all in all everything worked out well I think
The added advantage of using the helicopter wire like I had it before... is that even if it unwinds and drags on the ground... you will still be able to control your tank..it's super flexible... so will just drag along...just don't let it wind up in your bogies
Have a good one Mike..thanks again

Alpha, your Erwin figure looks just great - especially when I look at the pictures of what it looked like when you were starting to work on it! You have some serious skills, my friend. -Mike

Thanks mike... one thing ERWIN did teach me.... I'm getting old

.....my hands aren't as steady ...and at times I couldn't see the end of the brush

...I guess it's a reason to do this ... because I don't know how much longer I will be able to
With that said... I'll wait for a better day... today got cloudy then started to rain....so the low light doesn't do her justice ...the tank either... noticed in the photo's that she got some water spots
