This forum has the ability to be far better than RCU,it's going to all be up to the people on here to keep it active and growing. You have a heck of a lot of choices here to post in areas that the RCU tank forum don't even have, and all on the same page.Keep it friendly and keep posting, and the rest will take care of it's self.I know when I first became a member there was (29 members),now in a couple of months it has grown another (100)----So
for a new forum I would say it's off to a good start. It's not the total showing on the membership page that makes a forum work,it's the member's posting that will make it apealing and interesting to join. There will be a lot of choices here for several different hobbys, which makes it good for those who spring back and forth between there favorite toys. For those who seek help and sometimes advice on their different tanks, you allready have a lot of knowlegable people here to help you out. It's going to keep growing, and it will continue to get more active. ;D ;D ;D

bigmig this is a good post, and something we all should keep in mind, like you said we got the potential to be better than rcu, but it is a shame that all forums cant work together to promote and encourage people to come into the hobby

if some forums wont  work together then thats fine just leave them to get on with it by themselves, but now i cant help thinking we are helping them by discussing them, and i do realize it was me who started this thread, so i say FORGET EM!! and lets concentrate on people and forums we can help, its up to all of us on this site to make things work not a bunch of narrow minded anal retentive moderators, the ordinary guys on RC-universe seem fine but the moderators ?  now thats different.......

Just checked R/C Universe and my PM and e-mail was taken away too!  Guilty by association. If you have a life outside R/C U. and they find out you will be punished. The R/C Nazi "No PM's for you". :o

Hi Guys OZ is right leave them to it and lets get on with why were here .Matt I know you have put a link on Hobby havoc they have some good guys there  how about on the links page do the same for them a link to Hobby havoc .Wouldnt it be a good idea to contact other clubs and build a network of tank clubs that swop ideas and help each other rather than keep going on about RCU there history to me ,only look in to see if there is anything worth reading and there isnt at the moment .
