I finally found our engine ventilation grille!
The thing is that this is the old version, the new one has slotted plates.

Pavel, your computer must have 40,000 tank photos in it, and/or your house is full of books on AFVs. You seem to have endless resources.

When I started working on the chariot (it was a long time ago), I have 4 modifications of 1/35, although they are still unfinished (it has cooled down a bit), I was very interested in Aunt Sarah's necklace (that's what they call the pendant on the basket) my friend from the promised land told me that it turns out the balls are plastic with sand!
He is the commander of Mervkav 3.
I believe the old Jew! (C)
I always thought that these were cast iron weights....

That would not surprise me Mr Pavel!
Think about the resources, the intended purpose, and cost.
Why use steel or cast iron ??
All they do is add inertia to the chains to disrupt the angle of approach of incoming munitions.
They don’t need to be hi-tech.
Plus, if they do take a strike, replacement is again cheap & above all low on resources.
Smart I reckon!!

Yes indeed!
We save the shekel and don't rattle chains like the Canterville Ghost....
Spare balls are in the basket, but where to get sand.......

Here you can see OUR ventilation grille, it looks like this version is closer to our tank.. There they have a complete mess, they move the towers to different chassis, there is even this.
Windbreaker, Lightning, you can't tell them apart...
Rubber is painted over......
These are "smart eyes"

The first tank in your post seems to be a Mk3? At least it has the skirts and smoke dischargers from a MK3.
