Re: Road wheel covers
I wondered, too, just what "foam tac glue" might be. For parts that might need to be removed on the model railroad, I have used PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) and even "hot glue" of the sort in a stick that melts in a little gun gizmo.
Re: Road wheel covers
This is the glue I used guys and motion rc guy mentioned it in the vid of the review of one of there tanks,m60 if memory serves me right, anyways it's held on the covers but I don't think it's a very strong glue though, think I can snap the covers off but I haven't tried it.
Reviews on amazon people say they have used it on foam planes etc.

Re: Road wheel covers
Thanks I’ll give this a shot. I don’t know if I’ll bother putting it on the idlers and the sprocket, I pretty much have to take them off afterwards if I do any kind of driving in grass. I guess I could take a track pin out but thats a bigger pain in the butt to me than unscrewing the wheel.
Re: Road wheel covers
Motion rc posted a vid of the tongde professional version tanks but what I found interesting was that they added plastic idler wheel covers like I did,I guess the steel ones didn't fit also.
