The sight glass is covered with a cover plate...
I don’t even get around to doing it...

Some more progress on the T-55.
Turret Modifications:
I modified the turret recoil & elevation by fitted new bushings, slides & supports to remove the excessive play & slop, it’s now very smooth & precise in operation.
Fitting the main gun tarp proved tricky & quite challenging, it needed to be fixed securely but remain flexible so as not to impede the full elevation movement while still be removable for maintenance etc.
