A pin vise is a small drill bit holder basically. Allows you to hold really small drill bits. And for styrene, there are some vendors on Ebay that sell multipacks of generic sheets. I get like 20 sheets of various thicknesses on Ebay for the same price as a few of the "name brand" sheets.

Try to find ABS sheets. A lot easier to glue to the Heng Long tanks, which are made from ABS too. Glues up fine with acetone, but you get an amazing weld with MEK.

Which is held much like a pen and being controlled totally by your hand by turning it between the thumb and the forefinger can be turned as fast or slow as you wish which means unlike a power drill it is absolutely controlled by you.
You can place the drill bit exactly in place and just turn the drill without fear of the bit sliding,
It is a tool that you soon realise is one of the few essentials that you wonder how you managed without.

Not quite what I would have bought,
You really need a multi collet pin vice, usually stored in the body of the pin vise.

Just go to E-Bay and scroll down, I spotted one at less than £4 sans drill bits but with 4 collets.

Now your talking, The collets are double ended giving you a choice of 4 different size bits.
The swivel head is a must have  It sits in the palm of your hand as you twist the drill and it allows you to place more pressure on the job,
By the by don't place to much faith in the drill bits they dull very quickly and are very breakable.
Most of the time I use the drill bits in the dremel 5 bit pack,
