Its certainly designed to accept the optional MG mount as you can see in photos on the Taobao shop I got mine from. Still no idea when FMS will offer this & the canopy for sale.

Hey, Clark is actually coming out with something (sadly, not a Cromwell or BT-7). Now just waiting for the board.

I'm just wondering how many children I'll have to sell to the Gypsies to pay for it!!

At least one from what Clark told me. Heard said board will run somewhere in the $150-200 range.

Put the MB through the real test on rough terrain, rock & water & am impressed - this baby went places the D90 either spun out or can't climb. Did our first roll over on concrete with the windscreen up without any issues. Was in water deep enough to go over the bonnet & it plowed through like a champ.
I'm replacing the shocks with the same 80mm shocks that I have on the D90 since they'll carry any load I want. Regarding figures, I switched out with the 21st Century Lt. Winters & now have no issues with fit. As you can see, he & the Waffen SS chap with the MG 42 are BFF.

I have never driven a Jeep but I have driven a Landie and a Champ and the Austin Champ was in most respects far superior to the Land Rover including fording water obstacles.

Parts are now listed at banggood, including tires and rims (already ordered a set), axles, transfer case, etc. Still no sign of the .50 cal, the top or the metal bumpers.
https://usa.banggood.com/search/1-6-mb- ... l?from=nav
These axles might also work for dragon jeep conversions, and i believe the tires and rims will work with the Bruiser axles if you add the 12mm hex kit.
I'm also looking at the rear axle for the dragon kubel/schwimmwagen conversions.

Well at least thats a start. Besides the optional upgrades, I'm already looking for spares to replace a few broken parts so do hope FMS can at least service the local China market direct'y. So far, no reply past the original email I saw from them stating they'll be offered mid-May.

The Willys has disappeared from the FMS website and I don't see any pics of it on their FB page. I wonder if Jeep is suing them. Jeep has been known to do that which is why there is a lack of actual Jeep type vehicles in the hobby.
