Hi Gary,

The Pak40s do come assembled.. everything is working ready go to paint.
They are clean of flashing and support material but may still require cleaning or sandy to improve surface finish.

If you are interested and would like any more information or pictures please feel free to contact me either a PM or email me at wcprcnrace@gmail.com

Catherine.

In time i may look into making them as a kit, but i be honest i design these models so they are the best model for myself and i like to get as many mechanical parts working as possible. I love doing it. The problem about making as kits is then i am designing them for other people to assemble and some of the parts assembling these little beauties are hard and tricky and unless you are careful it could lead to breakage of the model. Some of the details are very fine even at 1/16 scale.
I enjoy modelling so am happy to help Catherine assemble them when required so she can make a little something out of it.

The perfect setup as although i don't earn any money whatsoever, it does mean i have free rein to design and build what i want :) without being nagged haha :haha:

I have given some of my models to Catherine for her to paint up as i know she really enjoys that side of things and she can help bring our own models to life. We make sure the parts are printed to a high resolution as is sensible as i really don't like sanding and filing parts ready for paint. I think others like that aswell

I look forward to seeing those finished painted pictures of your Pak40s Jim & Carl and some videos of them in tow in action would be brilliant to see

I got some painting completed but still a long way to go. Such a beautiful hefty model. I also have an Opel Blitz on the back burner (thanks to Mike for the cab) but I need a longer driveshaft (did I just say that out loud?) to make the cab fit and make it look the part.

A small wee video of the last Pak40 which was made before we switched to machining a metal barrel

Here is a small first test of the Pak40 with recoil setup on servo

In the new year, we are going to do more changes to the Pak40 to add extra details, so some parts will be available to those who have already got one of our models.
I am looking to replace many parts on this model with Resin parts to increase the detail level

Many of the moving and stressed parts will stay FDM printed as these work well and are robust in testing off road.
But stuff like the sights and the front shield will be improved printed in resin, we ave also printed new muzzles for the gun in early or late variants so the model can be adapted to suit personal preference

Many other models we have will be getting the same treatment

Hi Will, do you have a price for one that would fit a 251 halftrack?

We have just secured access to 1/16 static kits and are measuring up the space available and will be producing the appropriate equipment to allow the Pak40 to be mounted and have the details it should
