Thank you, if you look at the two vehicles side by side, they show quite a bit of differences. Other that the basic Ludwigs tub, they are totally different constructions, inside and out. Without doing a TOW launcher conversion like i did, it is quite simple for owners of a static Verlinden M113A2 or ACAV to rebuild it into an accurate RC model at limited costs/time by transposing Verlinden parts to a Ludwigs RC base. If I was to redo the M113A1 ACAV, I would do the type of integration I did for the M113A2 TOW launcher vehicle. I would however select a higher RPM planetary gearbox for the motors.

The new Tank-Modellbau M113 metal tracks are great for Nato European and Canadian vehicles but these are not T130 tracks that are accurate for a US vehicle, but its better than Panzer III tracks for sure.

Now, I am thinking of a M-163 Vulcan, with rotation 20mm Gatling gun and turret... But that will be another M113 story for another year.

With your incredible attention to detail, I am really looking forward to see how you make a fully rotating Gatling gun.

If you are still checking your posts OP, the workmanship on this M113 is breath-taking, "museum quality" at the least! When I saw those last photos of the interior you did up, my first thought was, There is NO WAY this model can actually be functional! Yet it is.
If there's perfection of an R/C model, this M113 is as good as anybody is ever going to get.
