As did I Mr Lav!
I will admit to suffering a bit of "writers block" on this for a week or two. I can only say that for me its a PzIV thing.
They just dont have an affinity for flow or inspiration and I do not know why. :problem:
However, I can admit that this is THE hardest tank I have ever had to paint. even in base, its quite difficult. Much more than my older P4 build by far.
So many sticky-out bits, the skirts and mounts around the turret are just in the way, tools on guards, hatches, rear plate is full of tight angles and the running gear is tightly spaced & not easily removed

Building a Panther was the thing that drove me to drink(so I thought) but a full-spec Pz IV has won the award for that now.

I suffer from writers block, boredom with the subject if waiting for parts for too long etc.

I sell a lot of mine until I’m 100% happy with one.

I just sell mine to Herman, but unfortunately that's not an option for him! :haha:

It looks good all in one colour, all of the details and sticky-outy bits really pop. That complexity makes it give modern tanks a run for their money though, hey?

AHHhhahah !! yes you do luckily for me ;)
I have always undervalued a PzIV especially with full schurzen as to its finicky surface and many facets that reflect light.
Easily as fussy to paint as a modern model I reckon.

They are annoying to paint but the spaghetti camo pattern looks great when finished. I really like my PZ!V with the spaghetti pattern but I also don't have the side schurzen on. Just the turret

Any self respecting tagger here, where I live would not be able to spell what you have done. Pleased you have your mojo back, and are moving on with this. It does look rather resplendent.
