Heng long truck

Heng Long/WPL are now manufacturing 1/16 scale RC trucks, so it seemed sensible to create a forum area dedicated to the amazing things that members are doing with them. Post your builds, mods, and tips here.

They've also added "pre-order" to the description at the top of the page. That was not there when I ordered. I got the refund and I'll be ordering from banggood if they actually restock on the 14th.

Here's the banggood offering

Yeah, Tom, NOW it has it in three places, but when I ordered it was just one line at the end of the description, and I missed it. Had I seen "pre-order" I never would have ordered it.

Good find - hope it stays the same price for you guys as shipping from here is a bit expensive.

The only difference timing wise would be from UK to America which is usually about a week. When you order from Banggood it usually takes 30-45 days to get here. Chances are they will arrived within a week of each other. It is really a personal preference. Haya has been very good with all the latest Heng Long releases (i.e. Chally, T-90 etc etc).

hi Gary , that wording " Pre order " on listing tile and listing is there since FIRST second when we completed that page . :'(
thanks for your business anyway.

we are one of 7 or 8 companies to share the first batch which is 1200 pcs in total , this is a guarantee from HL boss , talked to him yesterday for confirmation.
knowing we can not please everyone , but definately will try best to serve.

a bit more info for that truck. as a hobbyist of rc tank, i m still thinking how to extend its chassis , and ordered a few more wheels / suspension arms , will hv a go when i have time , happy to share info later.

Agreed I ordered a flysky radio from Banggood for my Open Panzer board and it took three weeks to arrive in the states. Haya is very reliable and fair.Image

Carl, Michael I go along with everything you say ,
Bangood are not expecting to have any in stock before the 15 September and their own website says delivery 15 to 30 days so I cant see much advantage and don't forget Andrew is a member of the Forum and apart from selling to us he is also a BUILDER
AND we know where to go if we have a problem.
As to the information we were given on the order form I was in doubt that it would not be here for some weeks and thank goodness for that,
I have enough on my plate already.
If a dealer gives me a reason to complain then that is what I will do BUT all has so far been totally square.
Shaun.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Just for the record, I'm not "complaining" about anything when it comes to Haya. I was under the false impression that the item was in stock, but once it was determined that was not the case the refund was immediate and all responses were prompt and courteous. My statement that it would be my last order was definitely (at least partially) fueled by anger, but most of that should be directed at whoever it is over there that decided I should pay more in shipping than for the item itself. That one always frosts my ass. Sorry that some of that blew back on Haya. I'm sure, and have always heard, that Haya provides excellent service to their UK customers, but given the costs of shipping and the fact that we're separated by that common language I still won't be ordering there, but that shouldn't necessarily reflect poorly on Haya. We all know I'm the toughest of customers and you're all intelligent enough to act accordingly. Right?

I guess I've been lucky with banggood, or possibly because I always order very small items, like mini cams and/or das mikro sound boards, but I've usually gotten stuff from them in about 10 to 12 days.

Bottomline is whoever gets it first please let everyone know about it. I think EVERYONE is psyche about this one.

I was under the impression from the original facebook posting that it won't be release until mid September which funny enough matches the subsequent date on the Banggood. I have a feeling that the mid September date is just the general release statement from Heng Long to it's suppliers. Will be interesting to see if Banggood will have it in stock by that date. I know Andrew has delivered Challys and T-90s before anyone else has gotten their hands on them in N.A. so keeping my fingers crossed.
