Tiggr I'm with you on that. I wonder if you have to just "add it to the Taigen setup"
like the Beier sound card or you also need to purchase the "additional open Panzer board"?
Very interesting to see so much coming to our hobby

Hello there Mr Tiggr I was wondering what sound file did you choose for your Beier card?

I found your YouTube channel and enjoyed your videos. I was on the computer checking out the Beier sounds and saw all the options.
Uncanny how the first tiger I sound set appears to be the base for the New Tiger I Heng Long dual sound set. The start and engine revving are very similar. Obviously Beier had this sound first. Once the set continues from the sound teacher you can then hear a very significant difference in how dynamic the Beier electronics are in comparison. With the shifting and track and wheel squeak.
My Tiger order from Eric should be here Friday this week
But it may be delayed due to a very large snowstorm tomorrow. We expect a foot here tomorrow in New England!
Cheers
Carl

Paul I installed the software this morning and tested all the sound files. I downloaded one of the panther G sound sets to test and I really like it. I may decide to change it up but it's on the SD card and in the Beier sound board
Very aggressive sounding file IMHO
OK I'm not a purist but it's very nice. The Taigen parts arrive tomorrow ( weather permitting) and I'll let you know my progress
Cheers
Carl

No luck yet with the Beier Board startup. As I feared the big storm delayed my Taigen order from Friday.
And to add further insult our beloved Mother Nature decided to send a second ( Ice and snow) storm today and as a result my order has been further delayed by UPS
Had to dig into my bag of tricks
Plan C...
I intercepted the package online and placed a hold on it so there are no further delivery delays.
I will head to the local ups store tomorrow and pick it up and then finally my much anticipated Beier sounds will be tested with the Taigen setup.
All good things come to those who wait....
I think

OK Taigen board installed....
It's very late here ( very long day on a site) so I will try to fire her up tomorrow evening after work ( my little ones are sound asleep

big Valentine's Day tomorrow).
I made the required connections and installed the second speaker to output number two.
I cut the Taigen board cover very carefully with my dremel and as Paul recommended With the Torro or Taigen board it's a very secure connection without soldering. The adaptor actually fits very snug and is custom made for these boards ( for those of you who fear soldering) it's a very easy fit
I've included my install pictures for help if anyone needs a reference.
I will also put them into a thread in " Other electronics"
The online tutorials are superb for anyone who doesn't understand German fully ( like me) just pick captions and google will translate them right on the video for you
If you want to hear samples of all the sound files please check out thier website Beier electronics
Although the anticipation is killing me I know I won't do the board any justice if I play it very low key in my office
A big thank you to Tiggr (Paul) for his help and support as I went about learning and testing the sound card and software
Cheers
Carl
