Chris,
I´m still searching for the camo. I have some examples....
The last one would be the easiest, just do some little weathering

Note, no roadwheels are painted in camo
I´m ordering a set of tracks to get rid of the dummies that came with the JP
I guess that will look much better....

Chris,
it´s still the original paint HL puts on. For repairs, changes etc. I took Revell 17 mat, it´s a pit darker. You can see it on the rear hatch. I´ll use the same color for painting with a little pit brown added.
I´ll get my tracks from asiatam (set € 14.00)

Hi Chris,
today I took off the wheels and changed the first and last spring to a 9 o´clock position. Now the JP is always coming back to normal position. I didn´t change the rest....
Now I´m waiting to get a turntable from IKEA to make it easier to paint the model (I hope my wife doesn´t forget it!?

)
Did you get your hooks?

Hi Chris,
Re: Airbrush.
Always use acrylic paint.
Always thin your paint by around 40%
Buy some spare mixing jars.
If you are using a gravity feed airbrush clean the paint cup thoroughly between colours.
After each session dismantle the airbrush and clean thoroughly in hot water and washing up liquid.
Cheers
John
Oh nearly forgot, get some Mr. Muscle oven cleaner. It removes acrylic paint like a dream. It's saved my bacon a few times over the last couple of weeks.
