I really like where the test hull is going!
Gave it a brown wash yesterday and a green wash today, using some old GW washes I had lying around (Ogryn flesh and Thraka green), watered down considerably as per your sugestion Alpha

I like the result as well Arnie...the wash settled quite nice....the bolts and lines stand out much better....Now you can experiment with a No 2 pencil and add a little bit of shine to the bolts and edges you really feel need to stand out

Arnie_DK wrote:Had thought about just doing an overall spray-wash, but wasnt sure if I would ruin evertything. But highly dilluted wash it is (will use the test hull first though

Playing with the mix ratio ...will give you more options ....I usually go heavier with the reducer than the color

*(using the word reducer loosely...My reducer is generally water lol)
Btw, Do you ever sleep Alpha??

Sometimes I wonder about that myself....

...I got used to interval sleeping...usually about 2 to 4 hours...then up and atom

....but I'm also a light sleeper lol....so it's almost like I'm awake ...when I'm sleeping ...did that make any sense

Apart from the light sleeper thing, it makes perfect sense to me
But could try out some light drybrushing here and there, for some highlight effect

Another thing I noticed about the sticker. Aparently I cant trust the way its facing on the card it came on. The left most sticker is turned upside down...

Have you ever heard of Frisket Paper Arnie?....It's a stick on paper that is used primarily for airbrushing...and perfect for the decal problem you are having...it's pretty low in cost...and all you have to do is trace the decal image ..cut the tracing out with an xacto....peel off the back...stick it on your tank and shoot over it with your airbrush
