Re: Panzergruppe Tarraco scenery: the Panzodrom
thanks a lot chaps!
Kiaser, our t-shirts are all black with the club's logo on the left chest, a small one, and with the same logo too much big for my taste on the back, this made you to sweat because this blocks the transipation is this area...
and now, some advances. Do you remember the nebelwerfer under construction on the page 2? so she is finished. As per this would be also a runner (in tow), the original wheels made of resin have to be discarded. We haven't received yet the tyres, but then, made the rims on a 3d printer, and then borrowed two tyres from the opel blitz we own.
here you are some pics of this second nebel finished (a third will be build soon). This has been build by the same guy that did the 15cm sFH18

that's all!
best regards

Here is a real one close up that I saw at the Littlefield collection in San Francisco in 2013.
The tyres were original.

I think I have worked out how they do this. They have found a new 3D scanner, which can do a full scan of full sized objects, including their colour. They then link it up to a magic 3D printer, press the button and away it goes. The net result is a perfect reproduction. It's the only way I can see that you can make something this good.

Words fail me, the Spanish are making us all hang our heads in shame, your models are perfect, all of them!
I wonder how many would seriously consider a meet there, I don't mean 'like to go', I mean 'actually go'?

This is pretty darned amazing!
Not only a nice piece of terrain, but master-class models òn that terrain to boot.
This is looking to become a museum-class masterpiece, the biggest 1/16 diorama ever seen, done by model-making masters.
Just one question: are You going to put some infra-red battle units at the 88mm Flak, the Flakvierling and soldiers that lay prone here&there?
I cannot remember where I saw them, but there is some guy that makes special IR-units for static anti-tank guns, and Panzerfaust units. They run on a couple of penlights, and would add quite the challenge to IR-battling, me thinks.
