Has any one got some ideas about some sort of post war camo paint job....I've looked around
And foul black was fairly common ...but it's a big tank and I like to break it up a bit
Ideas and comments most welcome
I can only say that the US did use various camo schemes, but of course what matters is what would be appropriate to this one? I get around it on US stuff by doing a basic green, and then adding high & low lights, and weathering to break it all up a bit.

If it went into service, I guess it could have received the same patterns as the M48's and M60's did. Some of them are really nice looking.

That is one good looking model just in green with stars. I think most postwar prototypes were painted the dark blackish green and would have some very dirty muddy finish if it just came out of Aberdeen proving grounds tank testing course.

Thank you R prime
I've been tinkering with the T29 when I been waiting for stuff to dry out on the m103
I finally fitted the duck bills to the tracks ..removed the sid skirt ...and add black striped camo see in korea ..I am still thinking about adding a tigers face ...but so not sure about that ...I still have pads of paint work to do like scratches chips and weathering ,, but I will be very subtle in how indomitable as I feel some armour is way over done ....after all ever soldier has it hammered in to them to look after kit ..
and as every ex and current serving soldier knows ..if it move salute... it if it don't ..paint it ..
Any way pics

Yeah, I saw it in your M103 thread and went looking for it. This thing is a work of art! And, I can't wait to see the M103 done.
How did you make and attach the duckbills? I've been thinking of doing something similar with my Pershing.

Hi Rp
The duck bills were printed ...by a 3D printer ..and there really fab ...but jot perfect in that tone or two can grab the sprocket and cause the track to ..jump when I get this up and running in will refit the standard back on ...

I was afraid of that... Do they go over the existing track connectors? Or do they attach to the outside?
