The 'nude' look is ok.................the paint seems to have some sort of texture and body that is great.
That you began with a renovators dream like the worst house in the best street, it sure is a metamorphisis.

The kit that was salvaged from the junk bin was this a JagdPanzer IV A
Image
It was amazingly made of good resin....but the casting was super poor...it's the reason my friend never built it up....the front of the hull was so thin you could almost plunge your finger through the resin....apparently he has come a long way from the time he attempted that build and done a new one with a Profiline kit... but what he tried to do at that time was to reinforce the resin... it was a terrible situation to say the least...basically all I could salvage was the top and gun parts ...lucky for me..he still had the hatches..so I didn't have to fabricate those :D

She has come a long way... with more to go...but I have to say... I am enjoying doing another Panzer IV chassis based tank...though I don't think she will be as nimble as the F2 because of the long barrel :haha:

Ok, I'm calm, now get your 'UTE' on & get the back end done :D
Down here UTE means a form of pick up truck as you in the former colony would know it.

Alpha,
The top camo with the outlined spots and shapes is my fave of the ones displayed.

It's just a light coat teaser Painless ;) ...just showing with the right techniques ...brush painting can be as effective as airbrush :D Just takes a little practice ;)
She's all back to the same color now...working on the rear shields....the brackets are really tedious...everything has to be aligned perfectly
