Re: Updates to my Early Tiger I
Richy Hi, I was a bit surprised that your TAIGEN turret was glued together as my two come apart with just a screwdriver, but that is not what you wanted to hear, a company called RIPMAX markets a product called "ZAP 7" it is a debonder and it works, any hobby shop can get it for you or go on-line and type in RIPMAX and go from there, apply it where the glue is and then gently work the area, when the items separate do make sure you clean the area of debonder. good luck. shaun
I think I am about to upset someone

Re: Updates to my Early Tiger I
It May well of come open with a little force but this came with the zimm on it so that had to be glued on first then the spray job over the top so now you have said that it could poss prize open but as the saying goes if it aint broke don't fix itjarndice wrote:Richy Hi, I was a bit surprised that your TAIGEN turret was glued together as my two come apart with just a screwdriver, but that is not what you wanted to hear, a company called RIPMAX markets a product called "ZAP 7" it is a debonder and it works, any hobby shop can get it for you or go on-line and type in RIPMAX and go from there, apply it where the glue is and then gently work the area, when the items separate do make sure you clean the area of debonder. good luck. shaun

Re: Updates to my Early Tiger I
Nope this is the first time I have heard of this. I have worked on 3 now (1 BB and 2 Recoil 1 with Zim) and all three have been screwed together from underneath.ALPHA wrote:Hey Scalawag ... Either the IBU2 or the Clark would do this for you.
I am not sure at all about the Elmod Fusion, but I think it might be ok.
My personal choice would be for the IBU2. I have 5 of these (3 basic & 2 pro) and really like them.![]()

Hi Richy,
The Basic does not have the ability to reduce the forward speed of the tank which the Pro does. The pro also has support for larger Batteries, and servo elevation and rotation if you want that. You can also trigger user assigned sounds like tank crew or radio chatter (or anything you like really), if you have a 5th and 6th channel. I think when I get my next one it will be another Pro as I believe the extra features to be worth the cost.
They come with a whole set of different engine sounds and if you let Ian know he will preload your choice of sound set. There is also a very comprehensive manual which is very well written and explains most things you need to know.
Of course I will always help out if you need a hand setting things up, I have a bit of knowledge with them, and if you decided on the Turnigy 9XR radio set up I mentioned then I have a lot of set up files for that too.
