Your picture did not show...Its ok, at this point I am building to How I want it to look. One thing you should fix though is the holes by the joints on the turret. They need to be moved inward from the edge, when you clean up the joints, the holes end up to close to the edge. You can see what I am talking about in this picture

Image

here is a good picture of the top of the maus 1 turret, you can see the holes by size

If you look close, thats a prototype tiger 1 turret....look at the hatch opening...

More detail....here are my turret lifting loops....for a 35 ton turret

Image

Not sure I like them, I thin the maus turret was supose to be lifted with the hols in the corners you see here....

Image

here are the lifting loops, razed hatches and king tiger vent fans....

Image

Here is something I am thinking about for the parascopes....the problem is the things have to be tall to see over the range finder houseing...

Not sure I like this ether.....

Ok, you used the Cammet's Krupp turret for E-100 as a guide....Sadly, I do not think they still make them. Not sure where they got the plans for it.

The next project was those dam para scopes again.....went with went with a razed platform with standard guards from the king tiger, they are turnable.

here are some shots with extra details...also working on the rolled armor texture.

I also did some work on the hull deck.

thanks....they look interesting, I was working on the hull and tracks last night.....I bolted up the fenders after adding welds and texture to the slabs of plastic....

For the tracks I am planing on making 2 sets of tracks for the tank....one set will be stock king tiger tracks with duckbills glued on with PVC solvent glue...the display tracks will be hl king tiger tracks with 10mm of other track links and duck bills glued on to them....they will be sale size at 62mm wide....the main problem is the track pins...you need a tempered wire, I found that piano wire is pretty much dead on but the stuff is not cheep.....so the display tracks will have to wait till I find a job...... :(

took me about 2 hours to make one track with the duckbills.....

this is the look I am going for...

Image

Next is back to the turret, I have to figure out how to make the guts before I add any more detail....I have a hl stug elevation unit for moving the gun but recoil has me at a loss.....

Image

Image

Image

Image

look kinda close to this....
