Just wondering, nothing to do with scenery, can you get 20mm thick sheets? Three 40cmx40cm? They make ideal bases for 3D printers.
Cheers

Richard's Puma running at long last, and 'very' nice it is too! Plus a few pics of the IR artillery gun which now has shells and shell casings together with a gun crew that Richard created out of the F1 pit crew. Amazing ingenuity!

Shame I managed to get the "fence wire" wrapped round one wheel

I decided that in the interests of protecting your character that I wouldn't include the absolutely shoddy bit of driving that would have brought shame upon us all....
If only I had turned left at the roadworks on the way down, instead of right, I would have arrived 20 minutes earlier. I don't think I have ever known a road that has had so many closures and diversions as that road in my entire life! Many thanks to Kevin for showing us the devious route on the way back.

The elmod does not drive like anything else (That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!). It was a good meet, some old and one new face, a great selection of tanks, even if the wheels kept coming off mine.

Glad the route worked okay for you on the way home.....

Just trying to upload some video shots from the 'tank cam', but its taking ages so may have to wait until tomorrow as early start for me in the morning ......
Enjoyable day even if I did spend most of it repairing things. Thanks to Rob for his miracle cure on my receiver.... if it doesn't work 'hit it'

A few videos from 'Tank Cam' - meeting 10th Set 2017.
Not quite perfected the WiFi link to the laptop yet, it sort of worked but too much lag.... and next step could be Virtual Reality (VR) headsets

Excellent videos. Viewed on their own, the lag is not apparent. That only appears if you are trying to use the video image to drive the tank

I only get the lag when trying to drive the tank from the IPad screen.... I thought it would be easier to drive from the IPad as you are actually in the tank.
My presumptions were wrong... it is much harder to control and drive tank from the IPad... o well
My plan was to maybe progress to a full Virtual Reality Headset... but that now seem some time away
