Hi Folks,

Here are pics of the M48 version of the Browning M2 used on vehicles. The first is from the U.S. Ordnance web sight. It shows along with the second the cocking mechanism. As you can see form my version I fashioned the "housing" from styrene and the charging handle from stainless tubing and steel cable.











Next up will be pics of the new Special Ops Models "open" 50 and 7.62 cal. ammo cans mounted on my 50 and 7.62.

Here are the pics of the Special Ops Models Ammo Cans. I also used the 50 Cal. Ammo Belt from Live Resins, the 7.62 belt comes with the Special Ops 7.62 cans.
The 50 cal can locks onto the tray using the ammo can locking handle just like the actual can does.















Currently working on the 50 cal handle. The styrene is not going to hold up , it has already broke once.
Just too much stress for styrene so I am fabricating one from brass.

On to the next adventure!

I am pretty pleased with the way it has turned out.

I want to thank you for the heads up on the Special Ops Models Modern Equipment, it is awesome stuff. The Modern Ammo Cans really add to the 50 and 7.62 cal. weapon stations. The Coolers and Water jugs and other items are going to look awesome once painted and stowed in the bustle and about the turret!

Barry that machine gun is truly a work of art

You are going to have a hell of a time finding a bullet press with dies that run down to scale .50BMG in 1/16th to load the live rounds

But hey, looking at the rest, you will probably just make one anyway

As for loading my on scale 50 cal rounds, well we'll just have to wait and see.
