That will work...I've been doing that quite a few times in my mods...
Use the shortest way to bring the smoke to the exhausts to avoid liquid residue....

Thanks strmnd54........ You really should start selling mod smokers on the side. Anytime you post a video of your various smokers all I can think of is why can't mine do that.........

Problem I find with my smokers is after a few minutes of running the quantity of smoke appears to lessen. I’m using HL smoke fluid so don’t know if the problem is the wick isn’t soaking enough fluid up quick enough or something else.

Ian, I found that any other mixture/formula would do better than the standard HL fluid. There is the WD40/Mineral Oil which I might give it a try, the baby oil straight up which I am using right now (Doesn't smell so the wifey can't tell, good for your skin (!) and you don't feel like you are running a chemical lab in your house) or smoke oil for trains/boats that you can get off the net. They don't thin out like the HL stuff does.
My problem is I can get it to smoke like strmnd54.

hi guys my 3 fans arived today but am not sure where to connect the wires as i have non proportional smokers there is a small square board with two black wires from the heater to the board &a red & black from rx 18 to the same point then a red &black from the pump motor to two resisters at the outher side so where do i connect the red&black wires from the minni fan to ?

I usually just stick it red to red and black to black on the same contacts from the RX-18.

hi guys hav now fitted two of the mini fans bouth working ok , but not seeing any smoke from my kv1 am wondering iff its because i have one exaust into two , allso the pump motor on my pzr1v has faild so can i dispence with it & connect the mini fan on the side where the pump is ? iff so do i just connect the wires from rx18 & heating together to the fan & dispence with the small square c/b on top of pump motor , [ none proportional unit] ? tanker 242
