Heres the change of exhaust , from the flame arestor back dated to the spark arrestor. I need to add a dummy feed pipe from the engine top to the exhaust . Ive decided to send the smoke directly from the inside of the tank into the exhaust to aid in parting the top and lower halfs . Thanks Ice for the advive here . I dont have many books with Hetzers in . But the modeling the Jagdpanzers in 1:35 is very helpfull with the models and lots of period photos.

Little more detail done . Ive started the suspension now . The first attempt seems ok with a bit of tweaking. Ive used HL Pz.III swing arms reduced in length for the Hetzer arms . I drilled through one end and inserted a metal tube to take the road wheel axel . The other end has a hole . The mounting point on the tank for these to screw to has the brass spigots that are used to strengthen the Tiger suspensinon . The Pz.III swing arms fit onto these nicely . I just need to make the leaf spring part ?

I'd love to see that small tank destroyer beside a KT or JT! If I renember correctly it was only 175 cm high, alot smaller than the 300 cm for the KT.
Cheers, Jens

All those angles looks spot-on to me.
That's gonna be a lovely vehicle when it's finished.

Hi Jo thanks . Im just working from 1:35 drawings blown upto 1:16 . The angles on each view are different for the same section so its probaly not perfect . Also the tracks Im using are from the Academy 1:25 Panther . Theres a guy on the other forum he used these on his Hetzer . They are slightly to wide but give the double guide horn . I had to compromise on the rear mounted spare links and the schurzen plates stick out a little more than they should but I think once its sprayed I think it will be ok . Ive sarted the suspension now , this is going to be trial and error

Hi Jens , thanks mate yer its a small tank . As for height I cant realy get a shot of it side by side with a KT as Ive just started scratching the suspension . I have posted a picture of it next to my WSN T34 .
