Hi green Amphibian, Ive now fitted tracks all round , thanks to Nick. I have put on 97 but baring in mind I havent fitted the lower road wheels and suspension , so it could be 102 . Like you say half have the scoops , but doesnt the other half have a streight paddel type piece ? Oh I have made 54 of my brass scoops

Andy according to that picture they certainly do. I will have to find some straight carbon fiber to add them to mine. I am still working on cutting out my grousers. I hope to have at least one side of tracks done this weekend. Yes, I am afraid that the tracks will wear down rather quickly when used out of the water on hard surfaces. We will just have to deal with it as part and parcel of our unusual vehicles.

Hi mate shall look forward to seeing them fitted . I think brass will be ok but again I dont inted to run to much on concreate . What about the rust problem mate . Ive been told before to spray the metal parts with a lubricant ? The picture is from a set of pictures of a LVT A-1.

I have found that to keep things from rusting spray some WD-40 on them first before and after being exposed to water. It is a water displacement formula that works pretty well. Oil will also work, but it will float off in water.

I don't think we are mad, just gluttons for punishment, but it would certainly help!

Are you sure he he . Ive added the rear section detail now the rope mounts rear , im guessing exhausts , towing point and the bolt heads around the rear lights . Its all sealed with resin yacht varnish , primed and primed again with a primer for wood and plastic . Its grey and looks a good colour . But I feel it will be green ? although I have seen blue ones , any advice on the colours welcome .

Heres the end section with the cable mounts , exhausts and bolts around were what I think is the rear lights. Ive got a little to do to the tow point and remove the scratch that I forgot about :/ Im going for the slightly batterd cum steel look .
