"Just now I looked at them at the laptop...." Rob59, you may have already done all you can to help these figures' faces. The better the sculpture in the first place, the better one has a change to make the figure look when painting and weathering. Look at how crudely sculpted these figures are: viewtopic.php?p=364095#p364095 and compare them to the better sculpted (and doggone expensive) U.S. GIs are a few photos down the page. Some evidence of the good work you did shows in your keeping the eyes under control (no fried eggs or wide-eyed terrified looks) and the uniforms, weapons, and other gear.

Yes, HDP you‘re right about the sculptured eyes indeed.
I do the best I can, took me quite a while this time to get them the way they are at the moment.
But I will keep practicing, and on one day you‘re more lucky than on another day.
And at a certain point you just have to be satisfied with what you created, and it might not get any better than that.
Rob.

Worked a few guys early this morning.
Just the jacket from that guy at the front right side, a few arms and some weapons need to be done.
So it is almost finished….
Also some weathering and small stuff needs to be done too

G‘day fellow tankers!
Last night I finished all Fallschirmjäger.
Weapons were glued on, so were the missing hands on some of them.
Next step will be checking them out at daylight to see if I need to redo something.
After that, I will ad some weathering onto the white insides of their Wendejacken, so they won‘t look that brandnew anymore.
Also some dust/mud onto their shoes will be added.
Finally I will take some outdoor pics for you.
But this is how it all looks right now:

Your Tiger is excellent,,, but talk about envy? Your figures kill me with envy :D Great work Rob  Those are something I don't have the skill or patience for at all.

Well, the only thing I can say about it, just keep on practicing.
And try buying well detailed resin figures.
Far most of mine do come from Ali, I have nothing to complain about them.
