How have you gone about finding '16 scale bits to put on top of the cage?
Not real good. Theres not much in Aus that I can lay my hands on.

I have made a bit of progress, but as I am still having issues adding pics on a phone, its not much of a visual story.
Having mounted the cage, I have noticed the auxiliary M.G. just will not traverse in its normal uninterrupted arc.
Assuming this is scale for a real one, seems a bit odd !!
My cage is a high one, compared to the reasonably excessively low ones that are/were also common.
The scale visibility in all the arcs of vision & sighting optic is ok, if a little compromised.
But the M.G. is no way going to be as effective as when the cage was not fitted...........
Putting a very detailed scientific swing on it...............the thing is just toooo long to swing through an arc of fire when level.

Have you thought about adding the light up Shotora emitters?
Even though it seems they don't work very well in real combat!

Yeah I looked at them, recent into the market. Thought in the end not to as they would be an unnecessary gimmick.

This device works...
And what they propose to install has nothing to do with a real device, because there is no visible radiation range, you can see it if you take a photo ...
"Red eyes" is beautiful but not real ....

You can read it, there are also photos...

Which is another simple reason not to bother fitting light up ones !

Painted, chipped and sealed...................oh, and Z'ed !
Still lots of work to do on the right look but its ok.
Used a semi gloss black on the rubber guards, hairspray, then the green over top.
A little disruption by a wet toothbrush and its a near enough look for roughed up rubber flap guards.
I used flat aluminium to chip the areas made of alloy that will be subject to foot traffic.
Probably overdone it as it is, but once the final weathering is on, that will tone down a lot.
The version of Modern Russian Green i made was a blend of XF-58 olive green and XF89 Dark green sealled with my usual portrait matt sealer.

I hope you will make an imitation of peroscopes on the manhole cover?
And then the armored caps look like pot handles

Yep, the front drivers one and turret ones are in, just need to place the ones in the gunners hatch.
I used a CD to get the funky colour look.

I use holographic film from labels or the best film from old smartphones when you take it off the screen...
