have you tested the recoil design? I am trying to design one for my project and your design is inspiring me.

Not yet, but will be able to do so soon, hopefully!

Test printed the turret in the last couple of days. Some minor adjustments needed, but fits together very well!
The T23 turret is quite a bit larger compared to the 75mm Sherman turrets.

Very impressive work. Really like your barrel recoil design.
Gotta admit though, that last picture got me thinking of that weird stacked, double-turret tank they used in xXx: State of the Union and the first Transmformers.

Awesome work Ricky. Printing the parts is easy, designing parts to be printed is in another league.
Keep up the great work.

Thank you for your kind words
I've been printing a lot lately, and also designed a complete HVSS suspension system from scratch.
One side is finished now and works as intended, now on to the other side and ready to start some testing!
The idler is spring loaded, so that it can move forward and aft to tension the tracks.
Everything you see is 3D printed, except the tracks, which are Heng Long Pershing items, as I didn't want to build a track anymore

Well I did the first indoors test run, and happy to say it seems to run superb!
Next testing will be done outdoors hopefully, once the rain stops over here

Nope just normal orientation, with the "tree" support type enabled in the slicer. Makes for the least material needed for the support.
