"I assume you want a fully RC version, so I best carry on with incorporating that better." Good grief! If it were up to me to make the 88 operate by RC it would be flipping around like a wounded grasshopper. I can wait for you to be satisfied, all the time enjoying your postings here.

Just playing with some crew members taken from the other Flak setup to see how they could fit in with the 88mm

The guy who designed these figures has done a great job and they print out really well.

More models & figures to follow

Ok a bit rough, but now got a travel lock made for the 88mm for when in towed position

Once i tweak the fit, i will be able to use the mild steel rod and resin printed parts together, then this pins onto the chassis section of the gun so can fold up and down.
Need find some micro chain that would have been used to clamp around the barrel next.

I have been searching through my many boxes of bits for component parts to make that barrel rest for my 88,
Will you be offering that as an optional extra cos it would make life easier for me if you did

Any updates on the recoil mechanism for this gun? I see one of the prototypes had a servo hanging off the breach.

Hey there. Yes we did manage to get the recoil working with a 9g servo, I was qlso looking to get the elevation working slower and more controlled, but did at least get traverse working nicely.
If you fancy one let me know, can pm for more details aswell if required.
It's a beast of an artillery piece. I really enjoyed designing and making it

Woo Hoo! I'm starting to drool. My FAMO should be ready to tow it, but I need to get back to the FAMO after three train scenery work weeks with the local Tuesday modelers.

Some photos of the latest 2 Flak 36 with SD.Anh.202 axles
I think these are build No. 21+22 and are now up for sale

This is a large model of the 88mm, when put next to a 1/18 Merit/21st century toys unit it absolutely dwarfs them.

Some small upgrades have been made to these using more and more resin parts to help finish off details.

The Gun can elevate, traverse, barrel moved backwards, breach opened, viewing hatch opens, gunners seat folds down.
The axles can be removed from the gun unit and the legs can be deployed and the feet are also height adjustable to level on uneven terrain
The axles steer and can also be setup with a rear steering servo to make steering alot more manoeuvrable
The leaf springs in the axle units are designed to work aswell and the wheels are mounted on proper bearings so they should give a long durability when being towed

If you dont want the axles the gun unit can be sold without the axles for a discounted price

The Guns & Axles retail normally at £280, however we will be offering these for sale for a special price of £250 for the run up to Christmas
If you wish the gun only let us know and we can price accordingly

We are hoping the proceeds of these sales will go towards building some new 1/16 & 1/6 models we have in development for 2024
