I might have been busy last night desperately trying to make something of the day. I hate the idea of wasting 8hrs of my day between 8-5 lol
Much better when i get home and get stuff done

The doors are pinned with stainless wire and mounted on resin hinges.
The front nose cone has opening bonnet flaps, however we have designed so that the complete nose cone slides onto poles so alot more access can be given when putting in the electrics.
A new rear floor section has been designed which also has a mount for a small 30mm speaker for those who may want to add sound, it fits under the floor. There is space under the floor for other electrics. We are doing what we can to hide as much as possible in this small model and still keep the details
Good news the body and chassis fit is good, so the option to have replacement bodies e.g. Ausf D is a real possibility for those who may want both types and not have to buy 2 complete models to do it.

Yes yes yes all very interesting WHEN IS MINE COMING
I love the detail it really is your strength in all your models indeed the only drawback is my fear of shorting out my keyboard coz I cannot seem to stop drooling
Ok, so last night i added some details to the model for test fitting
It is coming more and more to life
yes i do need to create an MG34 with the twin conical magazines for the rear MG mount
I will in time play with and try to add even more details to the small parts and the shell. But we are just about there
Rear lit plate and front notek still to sort. Right need pull finger out, get the chassis thru a full thorough test and see how much it can haul.

I have been quiet for some time compared to my usual postings, so i apologise for that.
Been battling some personal issues, but we are slowly getting back on track
GOOD NEWS
SD.Kfz.251 ausf C in 1/16 came to life over the weekend and we had our first proper test drive outside!
2s lipo test and it moves around without throwing off its tracks! Believe me it is difficult to make this work in this scale whilst trying to keep it looking good and remaining functional.
I will be doing more testing, but happy so far
All the testing done to date has been to run both motors together on same power without proportional motor speed control to aid steering. Although on hard smooth surfaces it is difficult to turn, when outside in the wilderness it runs ok.
However we do have a dual control esc on order and will trial one in future. But that is a choice for the owners to make.
Ill start with the negatives, it is a small model, which means hiding electronics is going to be well fun! But for someone who knows what they are doing will be just fine.
Some setups may require stowage boxes or other means to hide big batteries etc.
I will be going to town on my own personal one with sound and lights, but that is going to be some time.
Positives
Well its a fully RC 1/16 251 half track and it has torsion sprung suspension and it just looks damn cool
Videos i promise will come soon

"However we do have a dual control esc on order and will trial one in future. But that is a choice for the owners to make." Hmmm.... Let me know if there is a a dual control ESC you recommend. I might get one early and try it with my FlySky.

Cheers,Lee.
I would like to edit your comment Lee if I may and say I look forward to seeing a Painted version ripping up MY terrain,
I assume the beauty that you are displaying is for Gary,
I just hope mine is not far behind.
I am glad your troubles are behind you and I offer my best wishes to you and Catherine as always
251 production has started
The first 5 lucky people have been contacted today
If anyone else wants to get in with the first build then great, if we bring that number upto 10 people the prices will be slightly more discounted as we are passing on the bulk buying discount to our customers.
Thankfully the majority of the printing was completed before the energy price rise, so we dont need to increase the price of this first production run.
Take care & thankyou to our customers who have confirmed their orders
