They certainly seem to be, but I've not seen the Impact tracks to compare them to...

At about twice the price, the impact ones would have to be something special to attract me
Anyway, thank you for your thoughts

Had some issues with the recoil unit not working, so took the turret to bits and found the main gear bolt had fallen out. Put it all back together, but it's a bit dodgy as the carriage seems to be able to lift away from the limit switch. Tried tightening all the screws on the unit, but that makes it grind the gears... Oh well!
Also cut off the moulded springs from the gunners hatch and stuck on some real ones.
Filling holes and getting it ready for paint now.

Time, if only we had more of it!
Finally mounted the track links back onto the turret. Only stabbed myself once with the scalpel, when I realised I had put the three horizontal ones on upside down...

..Yes, well having an OCD/perfectionist gene does have it's downsides; perforated fingers, for example.
Another: just when the model appears to satisfy one's exacting standards, (and those of one's online peers) another 'must-do' mod arrives, unbidden, on the scene...and morphs into a constant craving (not the song). I think, perfectionists rarely actually finish models, but they do create some beauties along the way.
Looking very good, Jimbo.

Thanks for the kind words Roy, it’s builds like yours that we all aspire to!
Attention to detail is easier to see than creating physical perfection!
Stowage will be done after painting...

Thanks Adam, yep agreed on the Schumo jewellery!
Finally I have an update after one of the kind chaps at Grantham Light Armoured Division (G.L.A.D) applied a needed coat of OD...
Needs some accessories attaching to the upper hull and stencils for the markings - there's always something else...

Very smart.
Some stowage and light weathering it’ll look great!
